Amber colour. It was a bit sweet and fruity smelling with a nice sweet flavour, but not really all that special.

The best of the Original Joe’s beers. Red amber colour, not much head. Faint sweet aroma. Taste is fruity and malty, but not much going on here. Mediocre at best.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 pintbypint (1972) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
Pint at OJ’s downtown Edmonton. Deep orange pour with a weak white foam. Nose has light caramel, grainy, overall pretty flat. Taste starts with some light caramel, slight lemon note, grainy middle. Just a light grass note at the end. Grainy aftertaste. Average body and carbonation. Drinkable but average Canadian styled red ale. $5.95 for 20oz, ok price point.
