Original Lübener Tennenbräu

Draught at the brewpub. The brewpub had ruhetag when we arrived on a Tuesday around noon, but a man, who had an appointment was knocking on the door – so when the sweet lady of the house opened, she asked what we wanted. When she heard we were from Denmark and wanted to taste their beer, she happily invited us into the wonderful biergarten in the middle of the farm. They had guest themselves, but that was no problem, and paying for the beer – no way we could do that – what great and kind service, thank you a lot! The beer is golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw and a crisp, citrussy bitterness. A very pleasant and well made pilsner.
