Draft to taster. Looks good; a very slightly hazy golden orange with lively carbonation but no real lacing. Smells good too; tart and wheaty. Tastes like it smells with some saltiness as well. Slid on the palate. A good example of the style.

I’m still trying to understand what is so great about this style. It tastes like weak, lemony beer. Slightly more lemony than the other example of gose I tried. What’s even more odd is that my two favorite styles of beer are Belgian sours (or other great sour/wilds) AND German pilsners. I guess I just don’t care for them combined. I think this would be better in a weisse beer; or maybe less coriander and more yeast.

Nice sour gose. This one has a great mix of sour, saltiness and residual sweetness. Some sour plum and crab apple here with honey and lemon aromas. Pours orange amber without much head or lacing. Soft carbonation. Nice beer, good balance. Bottle.

I could drink the shit out of this. Lightly briney salt with moderate lemony tartness and a bolder then expected malt backbone which adds some appa joose, and light cereal malts.

DAA; Pours hazy golden with a deminishing off-white head. Nose is sour, malty, apple and grass. Taste follows nose adding salty and yeasty. Medium bodied, crispy textured with a medium, lasting bitter finish.

Poured from a bottle. Golden with thin head. Nose is sour barley and grass, maybe some hay. Taste is lactic acid, salty, and wheat. Also notes of green grape. Very pleasant overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is lactic acid, grass, corn, and sour barley. Now for the taste. It’s salty, sour, and spicy. Super, super weird. My wife likes adding salt to her Mexican lagers and this sort of reminds me of that except for it’s way better. Sort of sweet, sort of sour, moderately salty, all sorts of weird. I kind of like it.

Tap at Novare Res. Purs pale golden with an effervescent white head. Aroma is wet hay, wheat, yeast funk. This has more of a sour bite than other gose I have had. Yogurt like sour, wheat, salt. Not as carbonated as Lost Nation. Pretty refreshing.
