COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original Sin was born out of the NYC experience. The founders, all NYC’ers, came to see the need for a superior cider, a cider that was clean and complex with a noticeable bite. The quest to create the perfect recipe encompassed both day and night. Day was spent in upstate in a winery, tasting, testing and mixing. Nights were spent in NYC bars, getting feedback from bar owners and patrons. The result, Original Sin Hard Cider was released to immediate acclaim from sources as diverse as the The New York Times, Paper Magazine, and Market Watch.

Pours a pale yellow. Lots of apples on the nose. No head to speak of. Starts out sweet and ends dry. Not bad.

Draft at Poof. Looks like water although jbruner said there was bubbles to it. Faint apple smell as well as the flavor. Crisp not too sweet. Ohhhh another crappy cider.

Pours a bubbly clear yellow on tap, no real head or lacing. Aroma is booze and apples, taste follows, not crazy sweet. Decent.

b3shine (5593) - Indiana, USA - JUN 25, 2013
Draft to pint. Looks solid; a transparent apple juice gold with good carbonation and razor-thin lacing that dissipates entirely fairly quickly. Smells and tastes of fermented apple juice with a nice, tart mouthfeel. A decent cider.

Elwood (3311) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Fire Works Leesburg. It pours a straw yellow color with a thin and short lived, white head. The nose has a little apple sweetness, but not much else. Slightly sweet on the tongue with a little granny smith flavor. Light in body with high carbonation and a clean finish. Pretty mellow in the world of cider, especially with the stuff coming out now.

On draft at mad fox. Pours a very pale gold. Faint butterscotch in the nose. Sweet, mild applesauce flavors.

On tap at Victory.
Appearance: Clear straw colored body that shows a lot of carbonation.
Aroma: Slight apple aroma.
Taste: Sweet apple to a dry finish.
Palate: Crisp light body.
Overall: Refreshing if nothing more.

DeliveryDriver (170) - Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Pours an extremely light color with a fizzy, half finger head that dissipates to nothing in moments. Had a slightly tart aroma, and that’s it. Was slightly sweet, and a bit tart. A really bland cider.

jhbeer (43) - - FEB 22, 2013
Pours a very pale yellow with a barely present fizzy white head that vanishes quickly. Light on the nose. A bit of tartness. Flavor is rather weak, tart and tangy, some sweetness, but it could perhaps use a bit more assertiveness. Very light and fizzy on the mouth, goes down easily. Not spectacular.

Faintly colored pour of pale pale yellow with no head. Nose is not the best, smells somewhat funky and unclean. Apple and light sweet notes present. Flavor is better, with good dry apples, not overly sweet, not excessively bitter. Smooth and drinkable. Dry finish with a faint hint of almost champagne. Not bad.
