On tap at Black thorn pub. No head, no visible carbonation. Brilliant straw color, no aroma. Off dry cider. Very little carbonation. Slightly sweet finish. Easy to drink, could be drier.

Draft and bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow color with no real head to speak of. Aroma is apple juice, sweet, some alcohol. Flavor is sweet, sugary, with some light dry notes. Better than most macro-style ciders.

Average cider at best. Nice n crisp and sharp, but with little else going on besides a bit of alcohol bite, not one Iíd ever need to revisit."

Pours a pale clear yellow, not too impressive even for a cider. Crisp apple aroma is sweet and inviting. Apple flavor is sweet with a sour undertone. Firm texture has a lively and fairly persistent tingle, and finish has a little fruity sourness. Go ahead and sin!

355ml bottle. Expected this to be nothing but for a flagship style cidre it is dry and has a nice depth of apple flavor.

Just ok. More dry than I like. Really clear - it was so clear that my wife wondered if there was something wrong with it.
Had an ok taste, I wonít be picking up any more of this.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured from bottle in mix six pack, pours a pale yellow, and itís pretty much see through, more like a dark tinted water look, aroma and flavor is extremely sweet and the flavor is more artificial than anything, ugh.

Tap at Lazy Dog. Pours about as see through and pale as you can get. Taste of apples and pears. Aroma of apples.

12 oz (350ml) bottle, 5.5%. Clear pale yellow colour, foam white head and aroma of sugary fruity apple. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, melon, light wood and abit of tartness. Slightly foamy mouthfeel, light bodied, low to medium carbonation, dryish finish with some residual sweetness. Quite OK.

Smell is apple cranberry like. Cherry obviously but smells kind of cranberry like with a faint touch of alcohol. Taste is like apples and cherries with a tiny amount of alcohol showing up. Medium body and light to normal carbonation. Decent and not medicinal cherry tasting at least, but iíd prefer not noticing any alcohol at all. Not the most natural tasting either, but its ok.

Original Sin cider has been around for a while now. Never gave much thought to cider prior to OS. Had only partaken in such low quality ciders as Woodchuck, Strongbow, etc. But OS opened my mind to the potential of ciders and how enjoyable they really can be. To be truthful, itís not exceptional, but for the price itís damn good. . Much better (and better for you) than Inbev (Johnny Appleseed) or MillerCoors (Smith & Forge) offerings. Itís at the same price point in my area as Angry Orchard, yet much drier and more refined. Itís not an ultra-premium hand crafted cider like some local offerings here in Richmond, VA as in Blue Bee, Albemarle Cider Works, or Potters, but itís not priced to be.
Expect an effervescent, clean tasting cider, that leans toward off-dry but in comparison to similarly priced 6-pack ciders out there it would have to be considered a dry. Good, not great, but extremely drinkable. Cheers!
