hopscotch (4588), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jul 12, 2006 Bottle... Clear, water-like appearance... just a whisper of a straw-colored tint. Fruity, fairly fresh apple aroma. Moderately sweet apple flavor. Not-quite-medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes delicately tart and very tannic. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Apr 26, 2004 12 oz bottle. Very light and weak-looking, tiny fizziness but becomes quickly still. Faint sweet apple nose, reasonably fresh and "real"; very smooth, bland, a bit watery but fresh...there's quality there, if only the makers knew how to get it into the bottle. Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 21, 2007 There’s hardly any color to the highly carbonated body, just a drop or two of yellow dye. The aroma is faint, some mildly tart apples along with their skins. The flavor perks up a bit, more tart and stronger than the aroma. The finish is dry and lightly sour. Okay for warmer weather. heemer77 (3782), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 13, 2008 Pale yellow body with nearly no head. The aroma is lightly apple with some cherry cough drops. The taste has light Johnathon apples with some hints of honey behind that. While this is simple and not special, it is drinkable and refreshing. The finish is like peach flavored ice cream. Sweet finish. Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 13, 2006 Draft at Fox&Hound, Mason, OH. Pale color with a minimal fizzy white head that diminishs quickly. Light sweet apple aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Medium sweet flavor with a short sweet finish. Not my style of brew.
