3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 drowland (4998) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2012
12/30/12. Cool looking 750mL bottle from Grassroots Natural Market. Super clear golden, almost white-wine, pour with a fizzy off-white head that’s gone fast. Musty tart apple aroma and flavor that really hints at various off-dry white wines. Not bad.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 KAggie97 (3530) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - DEC 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours a lackluster chardonnay yellow with a weak nose of water apple and pear. Slight cheap white wine in there too. Flavor is watery apple with melon notes and watery white wine. There’s a weird gasoline essence in the finish. Lifeless on the tongue. Meh.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 unclemattie (3711) - Georgia, USA - OCT 20, 2012
750mL bottle, capped. Pours clear, white color. White ring, lively carbonation. Very vinous aroma. Not much apple juice in the nose at all. Juice and Champagne yeast, that’s all. Taste is tart, some fruit. Flavor of apple skin. Very light bodied, thin texture. Not impressed at all. (3495)
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 durhambeer (2398) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Bottle tasted at Sam’s Quik Shop in Durham. Definitely cooler label/design than the original Original Sin. Nose is Granny Smith apples, a bit sweet and one-note. The taste was sweeter and less dry than the original. Weird that this was made with champagne yeast. The original tasted more like it. Not worth it; simple, but drinkable.

(750ml bottle) very clear, effervescent, almost no head. Nose of funk, apple peel, sugar, smells pretty good. Taste is tart, apple skin, fermented apple, nice cider.

Served on draft at Max’s. Pours a clear pale yellow color with no head. Aroma of dry apples and herbal notes. The taste is tart and grainy apples, sweet finish and very faint tannic notes. Medium bodied and crisp.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 kidmartinek (2466) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Looks like champagne. Crisp cream color with tons of tiny bubbles. Smells nasty like white wine. Has some gumminess in the mouthfeel. Pretty much tastes nasty like cheap white wine. Nasty like old woman’s breath. I bought a cider not a charcrapdonnay.
