Aroma is light with some cherries and baby powder. The aroma seems to remind me of underarm deoderant, but not in a particularly bad way. The taste has some honey and light celery. Truly, a decent lager. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2005 I found this little jewel in Dayton Ohio of all places. I assume perhaps from the nearby Airbase and all of the flyboys that possibly had this at Kadena. Sadly this doesn’t travel well and probably sat in that store for a long time. Pale yellow in color with a white head. No lacing to speak of. A little skunky in aroma. Fair malt and fair hop. I have fond memories of this beer when I lived in Okinawa. The food, people and experiences all seem to come back. Gets bonus points for that. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 2, 2005 Bottle: Hazy yellow with a thin large-bubbled white head. Grass aroma with some lemon, medium body, starts and ends lightly bitter. Ends crisp and clean. Much better than most imported Japanese lagers. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA
