Orion Premium Draft Beer

Pours a golden yellow with thin white head. Grassy, grainy aroma. Flavor is rice and a hint of sweet malt. Light mouthfeel and slightly dry finish. Typical Japanese lager--light and refreshing, but no real flavor.

Sampled at Mexicali´s Baja Beer Fest Friday, 2009.Dude a small-cup cost 8 dlls .but it was worth it, very , some corn notes, very average hops character very resembling to Budweiser but a little more malty, plenty of head, light yellow body and plenty of white foam for head, kinda of salty a strong dose of carbonation present, wit a a crisp finish i may say too.Good will drink it if they introduced it here.

This was a really solid lager.Poured a darker golden color with a small white head.Malty and crisp with a small bitter finish

Poured from bottle unfortunately into a paper cup, so I had to rate lower on appearance. This is one of my brother in laws favorite beers he was hooked on while stationed in Okinawa. He was stoked he found it here in Ohio. Its a very basic lager, but actually, very refreshing and decent on this hot and humid day.

Bottled....your standard int’l pale lager, actually one of the better ones. Clean and insubstantial.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a one finger white head that receded into a soap scum topper quickly. The nose is grain and light grassy hops. The taste is sweet malt, grain and faint hops. Medium mouthfeel. Not that good. The cap says “For your happy time.” At $3 a 12oz bottle, I’m not very happy.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear gold color with a two finger white head. The aroma was grain, with a weird fruity note. The flavor was mainly cereal grains.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some grainy hints. Sweetish malty grainy flavor. Has a thin weak sweetish malty and slightly watery finish.
