pforei (338), USA May 21, 2007 22 oz Bottle. Lager glass. Clear yellow with little head. Sweet rice, grain, corn aroma and taste. Mild and smooth but not much else going on. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Apr 1, 2007 Clear golden yellow, large and diminishing head. Aroma is grain and paper, not much else. Flavor is this, very light bodied. As boring as you can get without being truly offensive. doubelknv3 (559), Illinois, USA Mar 30, 2007 Grainy aroma. Lite gold with thin head. Notes of malts, hops, and grains...surprised by the balance. Fairly smooth with mild dry finish. bgburdman9 (822), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 22, 2007 Nothing special at all but went well wilth my thai food. Low carbonation and a flavor of a lot of corn and adjucts probably. Better than the bud or miller though. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Feb 28, 2007 Old age is setting in as I can’t remember if I picked this up in Indianapolis or Dayton. Maybe neither. Anywhat - It’s a pale yellow/gold beer with a sudsy white head and some lazy bubbling. The aroma is faint, sweet and grainy with a hint of corn. Tastes slightly better having a mild grassy bitterness added to the stir. Drinkable.
guzzler67 (1272), Hanover, Maryland, USA Feb 27, 2007 Clear gold appearance with a small, solid head. Sweet, malty aroma turns more vegatal as it warms. Mild, grainy, moderately hopped taste. Exceeded my marginal expectations. CheersMate1 (770), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Feb 11, 2007 Nothing special here. I am not being offensive, but the Japanese are not well-known for their beer. I would compare this to Heineken almost. Doesn’t go down smooth, a very thin beer. I would say more, but the taste every average beer pretty much tastes the same: not smooth, thin, lacking body, and flavor. jonno (542), Brisbane, Australia Jan 15, 2007 Updated: Jan 16, 2007Exactly what you’d expect from an okinawian beer. Light, smooth and not too hoppy. An enjoyable, if unremarkable beer
