Rich, lots of dark fruit, but there are elements of leather and soap here which are not pleasant at all. faroeviking (6128), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Quite spiced (clove) bit sour malty aroma. The flavour is softly spiced, has caramel, fruity hops, some sourness and a bitter dry finish. NosirIwont (1186), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours clear golden/amber with a frothy off-white/grey head. Peculiar aroma; sharp, slightly acidic – yet sweet and spicy with an off-note. – Not sure what to make of it. Flavour is spicy; cloves, which is quite dominant. Some hops in the background. Finish is sourish and wine-like. Lingering dry hoppy bitterness. Cloves here as well. Grassy notes. Small note of malt. An okay beer as such, but feels too x-massy because of the cloves. 24-01-08. fiulijn (7530), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Updated: Feb 17, 20092008-12-02, Gravity dispense at Pig’s Ear Festival 2008, London, 6-4-5-2-10 Hazy amber color. Strong cinnamon aroma (I don’t love cinnamon anymore, a reaction to living for some years in the Nordic, but it’s not bad). The flavor instead is dry, thin, with harsh cinnamon, poor. Not interesting.
2008-01-15, Cask Conditioned at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen, 5-3-6-2-10=26 Amber color. Strange Ale, quite simple, dry mouthfeel, light caramel flavor, and some manure aroma and flavor. Ungstrup (15495), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet malty combined with flowery hop notes. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong fruity diacethyl notes, and a very bitter finish - surprisingly bitter for a golden ale.
