Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A slighlty hazy amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with flowery hop notes. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong fruity diacethyl notes, and a very bitter finish - surprisingly bitter for a golden ale.

Hazy amber color. Strong cinnamon aroma (I don’t love cinnamon anymore, a reaction to living for some years in the Nordic, but it’s not bad). The flavor instead is dry, thin, with harsh cinnamon, poor. Not interesting.

Amber color. Strange Ale, quite simple, dry mouthfeel, light caramel flavor, and some manure aroma and flavor.

2nd December 2008. Clear brown beer - a small creamy head. Highly spiced beer! Lots of ginger and cinnamon. Not quite overpowering but unapologetically spicy and I would struggle to drink much of it.

Cask, Slug and Lettuce, Leicester. Hazy amber with a beige foam. Aromas are white grape and apple with toffee and festive spices. Floral with toast and bready dough. Quite floral. Flavours are sweet; earthy stewed apple with caramel and spices. Woody with low bitter lemon and a dry finish. Grew on me.
