[6432-20140702] Cask. Fruity pear syrup aroma has a touch of lychee. Clear, orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy fruit flavour. Medium body is fairly flat. Fair. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0

One of those easy going classics offering some hops and easy drinkability. Some straw in the back with vanilla and quaffy taste. Definitely thumbs up for that one remembering me a really liquid Helles.

McTapps (4568) - Ruhrcity, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - NOV 18, 2014
Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a clear deep golden colour with an airy steady head and medium boody. Aroma of hay and mild hops. Taste of mild, light bitter hops, hay, mild citrus fruits and herbs. Dry finish with a medium bitterness. Light watery. Drinkable and refreshing, solid Ale.

Nice summer light golden ale. Floral and describing itself as a straw ale which doesn’t leave it out of its depth. Syrupy on the palate and would go down well chilled at a BBQ with your mates. Its missing something though and should offer a bit more refreshing depth. Good inviting aroma that promises more hops complexity.

Bottle from ASDA. Straw coloured with a small white head. Light citrus and grass. Syrupy, bland and watery. Did nothing for me.

Bottle from Asda poured into tulip type glass. Very light straw coloured with thin white head. Floral slightly citrus aroma. Just on the fizzy side. Fairly thick on the palate. Dry in the mouth. Biscuity and leafy. Lemon puffs and leaves. Nice.

DWG; Bottle 500 ml. Pours hazy golden with a frothy to creamy, somewhat lacing, off-white, moderate lasting head. Nose is shy, malt, caramel, bread, citrus, hay and light spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter with a moderate lasting, citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

500 ml bottle from Tesco. Nice blonde coloured ale. A good example of the form. One of my favourite breweries.

50cl bottle from a Tesco’s store in Edinburgh. Pale straw with a white head; citrus aroma, soft citrus taste; and a biscuit body. A straightforward golden ale.

2014-07-02. Crisp dark yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is mild, light lemon and mild musty quality. Flavour is pretty mild, lightly bitter, mild pale malt with a lightly biscuity toasty character. Lemon touches come out as it warms. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay. On Cask at The Clachan Inn, Dornie
