Aroma of roasted malt, raisins, figs, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. The flavour is roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, fruit and vanilla. Perhaps too thin in the mouthfeel though it’s balanced nicely and I found this beer very drinkable. Borresteijn (1398), Amsterdam, Netherlands

The dark ale pours deep from the brown bottle. The flavor is deep and woody with a taste that reminds me of sauna. A dark chocolate nutty flavor.
