500ml bottle at home. Dark brown pour, thick dark brown head which goes very quickly. Aromas of dark chocolate and ash. Taste has more chocolate and coffee bitterness. Rich mouthfeel for the strength. Not bad.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the 500 ml. bottle. It pours deep black with a moderate beige-tan head that slowly fades. The aroma is like burnt chocolate and wood. I love that burnt malty aroma. Smoky might be another term for it but "burnt" seems a better description. Thin to medium body. The taste also has a burnt malt flavor with a light bitterness to balance it out. An easy to drink stout.

Nice roasty flavour. Bitterness is a bit overwhelming masking subtle tastes. Overall good beer and I recommend it to everyone.

Nice brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet creamy, dark malts, chocolate, vanilla, roasted grain, caramel, grass, coffee. Taste is slightly sour-ish grassy, dark malts, grass, caramel, hay, roasted grain, sour coffee. Medium bitterness, a little thin body. Very nice for beeing only 4%.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
smells like a guinness but taste is much more stout...besides the strong roasted malt flavor off the bat with a bit of bitterness, the finish is watered down. Not as smooth as guinness either...doesn’t stack up

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pitch black body, medium creamy light beige head. Nose is mild coffee and peat-ish notes, grains, oats and hints of caramel. Taste is creamy coffee and peat tones, oats and mild grains with hints of licorice and faint metal. Medium creamy body, soft to medium carbonation. Quite enjoyable for a stout of this strength.
