3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Utobeer, Londonshire. It pours clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is soft, sweet, floral, lemon parfait, biscuit, lemon cheesecake, honeysuckle and toasted grain. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter - sweet, honeyed porridge, cereal, some light grain, biscuit, lemon - lime, white pepper and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Some nice subtle nuances to it. A pretty solid Scottish golden ale, not that it is my favourite style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Crystal clear, golden, fine poring white head with excellent lacings. Aromas of biscuity malts enwrapped by grassy, citrussy and light apricot notes with a touch of coriander. Light lively, bit lsick and medium bodied. Short biscuit sweetness offers the stage to a well balanced bitterness drying on the palate with a touch of astringency. Medium finish, stressfree balanced beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Aldi Scottish Beer Festival last year.
Lager coloured, quite fizzy but not overly so.
Big, bubbly head. Slightly citrus aroma.
Tastes of biscuit, little sugary lemon. Bit of hay.
Really quite nice and would be a smashing summer day session beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle: BBE Oct 2015. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home during Mar 2015. Golden body with a white topping that hung around for a while.
Aroma of fruity biscuits, the taste had a slight citrusy flavour with grapefruit and orange notes coming through. Decent and pleased I bought it from a Scottish Aldi last year while visiting friends.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A rather frothy pour of a gold ale. Aroma, fresh citrus and floral notes. Taste, citrus sharpness with a mild bitterness to the finish. Rather nice, just need enough glass space for that froth!
