"A light and refreshing beer. A surprisingly full mouth-feel with a superior balance of malt and hop, and a rewarding fruit finish."

500 ml bottle. Ruby & the Fellas, Tampere, Finland. Cloudy pale golden colour with a small white head. Floral and fruity hops, malt and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is floral hops, mild bitterness and some maltiness. Quite easy but not totally flavourless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with substantial white head. Very good mouth-feel from this beer with just the right viscosity and carbonation. Has a pleasant well balanced taste. Not the best of the Orkney beers but another very good one from the Sinclair brewery.

50cl bottle from Dobbies Garden Centre, Reading. Described as a Pale Ale on the bottle - and that seems a much more accurate description of this light, grassily hopped beer. It’s straw in colour with a billowing white head, and could even be mistaken for a lager; the aroma is grainy with a touch of wet grassy; it’s sweet and grainy in the mouth; with a light refreshing bitterness to finish. This goes to show that Orkney can manage soft and delicate as well as heavy and skull splitting.

Bottle. A pretty generic bolnde ale without much to set it apart. Give this a miss.

Golden color with a nice lasting white head. Aroma is low to medium intensity citrus hop. Taste is also predominatly hop that leaves a littel bitternes. Cant really pick up many malt flavors, maybe som pilsner. Mouthfeel is nice. Easy drinking beer.

Bottle. Very pale straw ale with a thick fluffy white head. Smell is a breezy lemon and peach. Quite a lovely fruity explosion in the mouth with that light touch of lemon and peach, with a sweet malt backbone. Quaffable and pleasant.

Lightly hazy straw, big white frothy head, ok lacing. Earthy hoppinesd, hay, malting with nuts and bit wood, slightly roasted caramel, bring czech beer to mind. Medium body, really is surprisingly full feel, soft, semisweet and bit bitterish, long finish dries. Nice and malty, enjoyed.
