"A light and refreshing beer. A surprisingly full mouth-feel with a superior balance of malt and hop, and a rewarding fruit finish."

Bottle (dmg notes). Quite certain this is the Northern Light, I had. Donít remember having seen any others in my hand, but the note isnít fully readable. Golden with a fine white head. Aroma of hops, malt and peaches. Fresh fruity flavour with a nice bitterness in the end.

A bitter beer, for me it had little to no aftertaste, which I thought was awesome. Itís light, Iíd imagine itíd go great with burgers or sandwiches, nothing heavy like a steak dinner or the like. Iíd buy again, but singles only, not a case-worthy beer for me.

500ml bottle (St. Urhoís, Helsinki)
6 Pleasant fruity aroma, light citrus, a touch minerally.
3 Orange, small head.
6 Wimple wooly malts, slightly dry and papery, but also pleasantly citrussy.
3 Full palate, a touch sweet, and with pleasant carnonation. Finish is wooly again, and with drying hops, a bit earthy.
12 Adequate, but lastes dead beacause it is dead. For the strength itís not a bad brew.

Hermod (3509) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAY 8, 2011
50cl bottle. Poured golden color with a frothy head, nice lacing. Aroma is malt and citrus hops. Flavor is similar, fruity hoppy, zesty, with a sligtly bitter finish. Too thin though, not much flavor in finish.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear golden colour with a large white head. Aroma of floral hops and some citrus. Flavour of floral hops, citrus, sweet fruits, grass and a malty background. Light bodied with a hoppy, light citrusy finish. Not too hoppy this one and everything in balance.

mile (3163) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 18, 2011
Bottle. Golden, short and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some toffee and fruitiness, faint citrus hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light hoppyness and toffee. Finish is average, malty and dryish, light citrus hoppyness and toffee. Quite light-bodied ale, nice hoppyness, but too much toffee/caramel considering the body and hoppyness.

A light and smooth beer. Something of a lagerish golden ale. Dry finish with subtle hop. Light. A good beer for a hot day.

Bottled, as itís advertised it is pale, light golden color, with very small white head. Nose is hoppy with vanilla. Aroma is soft hops, sour fruits and apricot. Very thin bodied, even too thin for its kind I think.

DruncanVeasey (7318) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2010
Bottle from Dobbies. Bright gold with a glistening white cap. Floral, soapy aroma; wafts of lemon and lime over pastry; honey-flecked sweetness, sappy dandelion, background almond. Slick and chunky for the ABV in that beguiling Scottish way; chew of unmade lemon and lime jelly; almond sprinkles, soft honeyed white toast, rub of peanut oil; vapid grassiness and thistle. Some quality there, but would have preferred the hops turned up.
