Bottle (500ml). Poured a clear golden brown with a dense, frothy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. A spicy hop aroma with strong notes of aniseed and grass clippings with some English marmalade, biscuity malts, lemon zest and light notes of butterscotch. Flavor was similar to aroma with a good spicy/grassy hop bitterness with zesty marmalade, aniseed, subtle fruitiness (red berries) and a grassy/resiny finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry resiny mouthfeel and a good finish. Highly sessionable, great stuff!

Bottle. Cream, hops, caramel, vanilla nd cinimmon. Pours an orange beer. taste is dry, bitter, with some lime, mineral elements. There’s also some sweetness in and malt in the finish. Really drinkable - ’grown ups’ bitter.

Reddish golden with a moderate, but lasting head. The aroma is fruity with a touch of lime. The mouthfeel is nice and the flavour has both sweetness, acidity and notes of malt and fruit, and in the finish good notes of roasted malt as a nice detail. There is no bitterness, well a little in the finish. The overall impression is a bit ordinary, but it’s a stunning label.

Amber with a white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Burnt breadcrust flavour, slightly oily in the palate. Long bitter finish.
