Commercial Description:
Available filtered in 330ml bottles.
"Named after Thorfin Hausakliuuf, the seventh earl of Orkney, this reddish coloured ale has an intense vinous nose, is rich and satiny in the mouth with a long dry finish and deep rich fruity notes. Described as ’Satiny smooth in the mouth, deceptively light and dangerously drinkable’."

Bottle: Ruby black with a compact tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, and smoke. Smoky sweet flavor that really mirrored the Memphis style ribs I had this with . Velvety mouthfeel.

Bottle. Dark red and a bit hazy body with a nice beige head. A slightly smoked, malty aroma with a hint of peat. Flavor is rich, sweet, smoked with a warming note of alcohol, nice and complex. Nice long aftertaste.

Bottle. Dark brown with off-white diminishing head. A little smoke in the fruity ale aroma. More burnt malt in the flavor suplemented with sweetish dried fruits and maybe a little note of cinnamon. Average finish dominated by sweet alcohol.

poured darker reddish hue witha thin white head. Some malty notes in the aroma mainly dried fruit. Taste had some smokiness to it and some hops but overall seemd really light.

Sweet scotch ale with many interlacing fruit flavors. Low carbonation, small frothy head. Strong roasted, earthy malt pressence and well balanced. Very nice drink.

All the greatness of a semi bitter ale with the dinkability of water. Great beer!

Bought this one from the Whole Foods I work at. GORGEOUS color to it, and at first taste, I thought it was going to be really bitter, but it moderated quickly.
