3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask @ The Horseshoe Bar. Spicy wheat aroma. Hazy golden Amber colour, good head. Bitter spicy citrus fruit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Good stuff but not an IPA. More a blonde ale.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask at The Haymarket Bar, Edinburgh. Pours golden and slightly hazy with a decent white head. The nose has some caramel and grapes. The taste has a bit more caramel and grapes with a burnt/grapefruit finish. The palate isn’t great - medium bodied and textured but just doesn’t clean on the end. Overall, unfortunately another wishy-washy British ale which doesn’t drink that well.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at The White Horse, Nicholson’s, London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a bubbly, white head. Soapy and floral hop nose with hints of citrus. Decent flavor, some almost tangy citrus, resinous grass, mild caramel and toasted sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, decently balanced finish, some lingering citrus rind. Nice beer.
