MartinT (4377), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 3, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Bready malts and decorous earthy, leafy hops merge in this able-bodied but forgettable India Pale Ale. Its hoppiness is simply not bright enough to stand out amongst its peers.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the hazy reddish orange.
-The nose is a dead giveaway; this is going to be an English-style IPA.
-A decent finishing hop bitterness promotes more of the same earthiness.
-Carbonation is soft and the body is lean, which makes for effortless drinking.

DrDavid (368), Johnson, Vermont, USA Sep 30, 2008 (Bottle). Bitter grapefruit aroma. Orange-amber color, white head. Flavor a little citrusy, with a very bitter long finish. Not particularly well balanced, but certainly drinkable. french tickler (505), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Sep 1, 2008 Shared with Pyrozoid
App.:
Cloudy dark honey like poor, frothy beige head.
Aromas:
sweet bread, nicely hopped, hop notes are grassy, caramel...
Palate:
salty, creamy, medium body, nice hoppy bitterness to it... long lasting bitter profile
Flavors:
pepper, salty, algae, caramel
Notes: Not to bad... very drinkable... the only thing that throws me off a little is the salt..... Now 3,99 Sammy (3141), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 23, 2008 A basic IPA. Very little aroma, and it was more malty than faint hoppy. Bubbly fizzy head, medium yellow body colour. The taste is fruity and the hoppiness nice, they give a passable carbonation, and a mouthfeel that is perhaps a bit below average. I do not know the IBU, its between a pale and an IPA but I enjoyed drinking it.
