A classic dry porter with coffee, toffee and roasty notes in both the aroma and flavor. Black in color with a refreshingly dry finish. Reminiscent of the porters of old before the days of stouts.

At Disney, I’m assuming from a bottle poured in the back out of my line of vision as we circled The Land at Epcot. Poured black with dark brown at edges, slight head. Pleasant aroma of coffee, roasted malts. Flavor matched, with a light note of chocolate in the back as well. Medium bodied, dry, flavorful. Much like an Irish dry stout. Maybe it was because it was at the tail end of a line of totally uninspired brews, but this seemed really nice.

From 12oz bottle (thanks,Rob) Pours dark black with just a touch of head. Rich, malty aroma. Taste is not as rich, and mouthfeel is a bit thin. (Probably does not help that I had an Evil Twin Lil'B a shirt while ago) Darker flavors of coffee come through as the beer is drunk. (Drinken? Drunk?) Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Disney World. Pours a deep black as night color with a thick, creamy tan head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts, and hints of maple. Tastes of dark roasted coffee, dark chocolates and darkly roasted malts. Charred flavor lingers on the palate. Mild bitterness. The mouthfeel was, light in body with good carbonation.

Pours a porter brown color with an off-white head. Nose is roasted malt, black coffee, some earth, some baker’s chocolate, and some coal. Flavor is similar with lots of earth, black coffee, roast, and unsweet chocolate. Medium in body and bone dry in the finish.
