On tap at Brewery. Nice dark pour. Aroma of roasted coffee. Taste was all black coffee and dark chocolate. This one was way too dry for me. Prefer more sweeter porters.

Feb 14, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep black with a smaller creamy/bubbly tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Flavor of milk chocolate, roasted malt and some coffee.

Feb 11, 2008 Draft at brewpub. Poured dark brown color with medium brown creamy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a dry smoth texture. Medium flavor of roasted malt with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid brew.

Jan 26, 2008 this a porter that is a bit too thin for my interest. a little licorice in with an adequate flavor profile of chocolate malt and light hop finish. seemed the bitterness and carbonation were not quite balanced and i found that distracting. nice dark color seemed to enhance the dissapointment.

Dec 6, 2007 GABF. Dark pour. Some chocolate on the flavor, but never got it off the aroma. Somewhat difficult to get any aromas. Flavor was watered down too. Not a favorite.
