Dec 11, 2006 Same beer as the Holidaze ale with a different yeast strain. Both experiements for a future belgian style ale. This one is better. Alittle sweeter, fruitier flavor.

Dec 10, 2006 on tap-pours an off white head and copper color. Aroma is yeast, dark fruit, medium malt, faint hops. Taste is yeast, dark fruit, medium malt, faint hops.

Dec 8, 2006 Right now (12/8/06) OBP has two seasonals on draft: this and Holidaze Ale. I was told that they are pretty much the same except for the yeast strain. I preferred the Reindeer Ale. Both are fairly standard Belgian-style ales. This one is a little more fruity with a fuller mouthfeel.
