3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bouteille 500 ml. 5%. Couleur jaune foncé, un peu trouble, mousse blanche mince. Arômes de houblon, céréales. Notes de malt blond, frais, houblons. Finale un peu amère, plus que la plupart des pâle lager. Très bonne.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours blond, slightly hazy. Average, frothy head. Average retention, but a really huge lace.
Aroma is wet grace, clean cereals, and some herbs as well. Reminescent of garlic butter (!?!?!?!), which was really weird, and while I like garlic butter, I’m not sure it’s really a good thing.
Taste is quite inoffensive at first -- cereals, mild hops -- but gets more pronounced as it goes. The finale is actually really bitter, which is surprising considering what that beer is.
Oily mouthfeel, finale is somewhat abrubt.
All in all... Good and quite "different" for a pale lager, but... What with that aroma?!?! Not bad, just never had something like that.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
All hops on the nose, nothing else even though I was breathing in deeply like I was huffing glue or something. Has excellent head and a nice foggy bright orange-yellow body with minimal carbonation. Flavour is a nice light mix of malts and hops. Slightly watery palate, however. It’s okay, and drinkable, but nothing more.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[2809-20100316] 500mL bottle. Aroma is a dead ringer for old wax crayons with strong musty grass and earth notes. Slightly hazy, light brown yellow body with a big medium-lasting foamy white head. Cold liquid dusty wax flavour with a long semi-sweet cardboard finish. Medium body. Pleasant.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2010-03-16. Deep yellow body with a slight chill haze, large foamy white head. 3+ Mild aroma, lightly grassy/floral and a mild yeasty undercurrent. 6+ Flavour is similar, floral yeasty character, light grainy bite in the finish along with a slightly sharp bitterness. Doughy touches. Average palate is well carbonated. Floral notes get a bit odd as the glass goes on, light notes of vegetation. Not really to my tastes, but it is pleasant and fairly drinkable. Hazy golden with a thick white foamy head showing above average retention. Aroma is floral hops,a bit of citrus, a hint of spices and grains. Flavor is grains, floral hops, citrus and sugar with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite interesting for a pale lager.
