3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 HogTownHarry (5653) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JAN 17, 2012
500ml bottle. Deep clear copper with a decent lasting frothy beige head. Sweet and floral, a hint of spoilt milk. Taste - not bad - a bit earthy, very grainy with baker’s chocolate and dry spice - a solid 7+!! Average body, mild carbonation, not a lot of up-front malt, or acidity - and not really hoppy at all, but I’m not sure this is supposed to be a DIPA - longish gritty herbal finish. I enjoyed it, not sure what it was though.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 sacrowth (2) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 14, 2011 does not count
Pours a nice medium light organge colour but was so super fizzy that I think that there must be some sort of contamination.
However, the aroma isn’t at all funky and it still has a somewhat pleasant citrus aroma.
Taste is astringent and tangy and is giving me pretty severe gas burps, too many bubbles on the tongue.
Drain-pour.

Bottle - 500ml. Hazy amber body with average carbonation and a huge off-white frothy head. Good hoppy aroma with brown sugar and flowery hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Sharp hoppy taste with some oaky notes. Alcohol is not too agressive. Ends with a decent, sharp bitter finish. Enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Spab (1646) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2011
500 ml bottle from La Barik. Pours a cloudy darkish amber with small off-white head. Aroma is mostly of caramel with some piney, peppery hops that seem rather under stated for a DIPA. Flavour has strong caramel taste with piney, spicy, slightly citric hoppiness more pronounced than in the aroma. Alright.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 belandzio (20) - Saint-Donat, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 2, 2011
Bière intéressante, riche et onctueuse, avec une amertume délicate, mais sans goût trop prononcé. Elle est fruité, de couleur cuivrée, montée d’un très beau col collant au parois du verre.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Marheb (1178) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 17, 2011
