Pitch black with brown head. Coffee rich aroma, with chocolate cookie crumble. The cookie crumble continues, bringing vanilla creme with it. Oreo profile leaving sugars on the tongue.

Nearly full black. Toasty, chocolatey aroma. Full, creamy body. Almost ice cream. Sweet, sugary but not fruity. The darker, edgier nuances of the aroma are glossed over on the palate, which is too bad. Too sweet, I couldn’t drink a pint.

[bottle at cgarvieuk’s Danish Invasion Tasting] Sweet dried fruit aroma with some ethanol and milk chocolate accents. Medium thick, dark black with a red-tan ring. Sweet dark chocolate flavour with some dark chocolate bitterness and a faint sourness. Some apricot and earthy hops apparent. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter chocolate finish.

Black with a minimal brown head that dissipate very quickly, like if there was too much acidity in this beer. Aroma is dark chocolate, cacao, coffee, vanilla. Full body with soft carbonation. In mouth, is like a bitter coffee with dark chocolate and a bit of cacao. Finish is chocolate with a oily feeling in the mouth for a while.

Good stout with strong roasted malt taste and an undercurrent of chocolate. Could be a bit thicker and creamier though, that is what is lacking to make it into a great stout.
