Aroma has some sort of vegetable in it, and hops. Palate is decent, sweet, honey, hops and chocolate. Interesting, and nice. jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Dec 17, 2007 Slightly hazy amber coloured body with a light tan head and a bunch of floaters throughout the beer! Aroma of light hops, a strong malt body and a bit of caramel, tucked in with some raisins. Light-bodied; A short dose of hops, with more malt than expected and very little else. Aftertaste shows some sugars, but mostly cardboardy type tastes. Overall, a pretty poor beer, with little to offer for this style or any others. Overall, a very big disappointment, not really worth trying again. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 16-December-2007. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Dec 12, 2007 12 oz bottle from Halftime. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a lively carbonation and a foamy head- light lace. Aroma is light toffee, and sweet light caramel malts, some light nuttiness, and herbal grassy hops with some light earthiness- also has a wierd citrussy lemon hint. Toffee and lightly staled malts, crackery, and some grassy hops in the end- actually becomes tea-like and a little astringent. Overall easy drinking, but it might be a bit past its prime. A bit better than average for a Steam/Common. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 14, 2007 On draft at Three Needs, Burlington. Poured deep copper with some minimal lacing.
