Mild grainy aroma, touches of straw and hops. (5+) Low level citrus hops in the flavour, light astringency, mild grainy undertones. Average palate. An adequeate pale ale, a poor IPA. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. Coles IPA Tasting. Liked this beer. Found it enjoyable & nice esay drinking but not an IPA IMO. Copper colored slighty sweet, tea. Mild hop bitterness. Some malty sweetness. Should be reclassified & would warrant a better overall impression as I did like this Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Bottle from beer store in Portsmouth, NH--Poured a hazy amber-copper body with a sticky caramel fruity hops nose indicative of many East Coast brewers. Gritty and a little cardboard-like perhaps from being past its due date. Nice hops profile and play with malts, but overall, it was missing due to being outdated. Grapefruity, citrus bitter finish. Nice beer otherwise. I would like to try again. tomthompson89 (1474), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy copper-gold with an average size somewhat-lasting frothy white head. Very mild aroma of citrus hops and fruit -- not much there. Flavour, also very mild, of light citrus hops (maybe a bit of piney hops too), pale malt and fruit. It has an O.K. bitter finish (where most of the hops wind up) but the aftertaste leaves something to be desired, slightly astringent even. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied. Nothing ’bad’ about it but it’s a very bland beer, not something worth having again. beerbill (1947), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Bottle sampled at NFB&WF ’08 at Martha Clara Vineyards. Pours a hazy copper. Light aroma of pine and a touch of citrus. Flavor is mostly watered down pine with a weak malt backbone. Thin bodied and weak. Not very good. wcampbell (576), Central, South Carolina, USA

This was almost good, but there was a strange acidic earthy taste to it. It was also watery. Caramel malty taste with some hop bitterness. Probably the worst IPA I have had. Really weak beer.
