Pours a clouded amber gold. No head sticks around too long here. Nose is a vibrant orange with . Flavor is a woody and tart hop character. Slight touch of a salty edge. Meaty and thick. Feel is thick on the liquid with a pretty full level of bubble. Very drinkable. Definitely a session brew. Plus, for the people who care...it’s organic.

Initial hop aroma with lots of malts in the end. Cloudy orange color with a small white head and a little lacing. Large malt taste with a light amount of bitterness in the finish. Light palate.

(12oz bottle) Lightly hazed light amber body topped by small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, dry hop orange/floral/dusky, light biscuit. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some peach/caramel, light lemon. Light-medium body, light chewiness. Pleasant beer, more along the lines of an APA.

Copper coloured body with strong orange highlights and a very thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, not too high in a.a. though, still nice. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour coupled with subtle malt and a apricot flavour. Aftertaste shows some of the hops, a bit of a metallic twang and all finished by some alcohol. Overall, a decent beer - not enough hops, and a bit too much malt for me...but good to try. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 01-December-2007.

Bottle. Light aromas of cereal, grass, maybe a little citrus, and cardboard make up the only noticable smells. Head is thin with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is a clear amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly acidic and finishes lightly acidic and has a long moderate bitter taste. Palate is dry to creamy, light to medium and has a lively carbonation. Not a bad beer, but the light aromas and flavor did this in.

Pours copper with a decent size off-white head. Aroma of light fruit, citrus, and piney hops. The flavor is slightly sweet, light fruits, citrus, caramel, and a piney bitter finish. Thin bodied, not the greatest balance between hops and malts.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden and well carbonated with a nice frothy head. Sweet malt with hints of orange, pine and citrus are present in the aroma. There is also a hint of mustiness. Flavor is nice and hoppy. Orange and grapefruit with a firm spicy bitter finish. This bitter finish lingers and is actually over powering in the end. Dry mouth feel. Drinkable but nothing great.

bottle poured a light amber in color with a thin layer of head on the beer. smell is hops, peach, light citrus, and fruits. taste is along those lines as well, nice hops bite, slight fruit, good finish with a little hops bitter aftertaste. really a nice drinkable beer, was a little worried as some of these all organic beers are lacking in the flavor department.did not know this was a magic hat brew but they pulled this one off. abv. on the bottle listed at 5.6%
