3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jimhilt (2274) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 7, 2007Pours a five-finger off-white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Clear amber color. Piney/hoppy nose. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor is surprisingly sweet with hops at finish and slight bitter aftertaste. Decent IPA and IPAs are not my favorites. $1.60 for a 12oz bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.
Label has ABV at 5.6%.

Hazy amber/gold pour. Aromas of bread, flower and citrus. Body was medium with some hop, spice and biscut tastes. It was ok.

Bottle that was never poured in a glass, drinks like a lame caramel bodied ipa with not enough IBU’s to put forth anything i enjoy in an IPA. Simple and sessionable i suppose.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 GT2 (5661) - Riverslime, California, USA - MAR 28, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a modest off-white head. Aroma of strawberries, candied fruits, citrus hops, and caramel malt. Nice, fresh grapefruit hops in the body with good crisp caramel malt for balancing. Bitter, clean grapefruit aftertaste. A very good IPA. Can’t really find this stuff anymore...too bad.

Hazy dark gold color with a small fluffy head. Bitter, light citrusy hop flavor. Faint malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Nothing too out of the box.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Spab (1645) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 11, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orangish gold wth small slightly off white head. Crisp citrus hoppy nose. Light maltiness with a somewhat bitter citrus hop finish. Medium body. Not bad, though I’d echo the comments that it lacks the punchiness of good IPAs.

(Bottle). Citrus aroma. Cloudy yellow-orange color, with off-white head. Flavor is refreshingly citrus, mostly orange and lemon. Limited bitterness. Pleasant, but very mild for an IPA.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hophead75 (2008) - Largo, Florida, USA - AUG 25, 2008
on tap at Magic Hat- rating based upon a few samples. Almost clear golden in color with orange highlights. Aroma: mild to moderate orange/grapefruit with a very light touch of malt in the back. Taste is a light to moderate amount of citrus hops, on a light to medium pale malt body. Very straightforward and easy drinking for an IPA. Clean flavor profile. Bitterness is light to moderate in the finish. Not bad for an APA but not as assertive as I like IPA’s.

2008-08-16. Dark yellow not quite orange body, with a small white head. Mild grainy aroma, touches of straw and hops. (5+) Low level citrus hops in the flavour, light astringency, mild grainy undertones. Average palate. An adequeate pale ale, a poor IPA. Bottle, Coles IPA Festival, Buffalo
