750ml -

2nd beer from these guys and it’s a really damn good beer. Tons of fresh fruit, almost like a fruit salad in the aroma. Peaches, strawberries, apricots, apples, honey....eally nice. More mixed berries/fruit salad in the aroma, light yeast/bread, light spice notes. Damn good beer.

Bottle to glad. Slight oxidation. Not much else. Pours a hazy gold with full white head. Taste is restrained malt and moderate bitterness.

Quite grassy in the hops with a light mouthfeel and a little sweet, caramel malt. Not sure it’s my thing to be honest.

Bottle 0,33L. Slightly hazy, orange/yellow colour with thin white head. It has double malt in name, but caramel is the only part of malty aroma, I can find in it. The rest of aroma seems hoppy to me: citruses, grass, hoppy flowers and herbs. Light bitter taste with strong citrusy feeling and moderate bitter finish. Good, very refreshing summer beer!

Bottle@Home. Orange and spices in the aroma. Yellow, beige head, good lace. Sweetish, bitter, orange, lightly spiced. Soft mouth feel.

Blond beer with fine white head, for me not good, dominant hop and dry notes in taste...

I started off liking this but it’s so sweet! Sickly by the end. Quite a nice rich malty, syrupy taste with some banana and wheat but it quickly becomes a bit one dimensional.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, caramel malty, minimally citrusy and bitter hoppy aroma. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, dry, herbal hoppy overtones.

It poured with an appealing clear amber hue and a medium off-white head. The aroma was subtle: mainly malt with a touch of honey. The beer itself was medium bodied and well balanced. A little bit of sweet malt as you’d expect up front, but then berried fruit and good lasting dryness in the aftertaste.

0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This one pours a mild blurry/near-clear pale-copper colored body with a small quickly sidesticking bubbly off-white head. The aroma is really subtle, but I get some tones of light butter-caramel hints and also some mild melon. It has a nice light sweet-caramel flavor, a descent bitterness all the way. I also get more melon and some branches as well. Light alcoholic in the finish and aftertaste. Actually a hint of cognac! Not bad, but doubt that I will remember this for too long. 26.05.2012
