Bottle. Clear yellow/orange with a minimal white head. Aroma is caramel, grain, a bit vinous, oxidized sherry notes. Taste is medium sweet with hardly any bitterness. Medium body, oily/sticky texture, medium carbonation. Sweet and light dry finish. Ok soft and drinkable, but not that interesting.

Gyllene i färgen med vitt skum. Doftar söt ljus malt, jästiga toner, söt citron, gräs, hö, alkohol. Smakar söt unken malt, alkoholsötma, torr alkoholig avslutning.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, over ripe fruits, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, spices, and wood, leading to a dry finish.

Bottled. Clear amber with a very small off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Low carbonation, medium to full body. Bready, caramelish flavor, rather dry finish, alcohol felt. Pleasant for the style.

Papsoe (25089) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2013
Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear amber with a tiny off-white head. Sweet and fairly clean caramellish nose. Solid malt base, lowish carbonation, hardly any fruitiness, rather caramel malts and pumpernickel making this one come out mostly as a Doppelbock! But a decent one at least. Quite some alcohol presence. 250213
