COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In contrast to all the others, the Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste.

Bottle shared with Miver on New Years Eve. Light hop and yeast aroma, golden body with thin head. Flavor is of dry, crisp hops... dry finish. An excellent Belgian.

Bottle. Dry and sweet fruits. Spice. Unique aroma. Might refer to it as that Orval aroma. Warming alcohol. Clean yeast. Fluffy lively carbonation. Beautiful long dry finish. Exquisite.

The aroma is is sweet as and floral, the appearance is a orange / amber with a thick lasting frothy head. The taste is clean and smooth, the beer is very smooth and easy to drink, overall very nice.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy, amber-orange with a huge frothy off-white head that lasts throughout. Quite effervescent. Amazing lacing. Aroma of fruits, citrus, grapes, and bubble gum. Taste is sweet malt with a pronounced hop character. For me, this is quite complex with oranges, grapes, and bubblegum. A little spicy, and a bit earthy. Medium to full body. Lively carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. Short, dry finish. Easy to drink. Great choice for my 100th rating.

11.2 oz bottle Gold color, great lacing. Great aroma from dry hopping. Incredibly complex. Only gets better with age. Perhaps the best beer in the world.

Bottle sample. This is one of my favorites of the Trappist beers. Pours a dark cloudy gold, wonderous beige head great lacing. The aroma is of fruit an hops. Taste is hoppy and of grape, very palatable. This is one beer I cannot have enough of, I could drink this all night. There is only one problem I have with this, and that is every time you uncap a bottle it just foams right out, which could be considered good and bad, just messy.

Cloudy dark yellow pour, large bubbles. Aroma of nutmeg, banana, "Christmas" spices. Large bubbles in the mouth, with a tight taste, opening up to citrus as it warms to the right temperature. The friendly aromas don’t come through strongly in the taste, however, otherwise I’d like this one even more.
