Flavor is floral spices, bitterness, fruit, a little sourness. I think i’m starting to get this one. mannika (98), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 9, 2008 Bottle. Looks good in the class with a mild but pleasant aroma. Flavor was a little disappointing - a bit bitter but couldn’t pick out too much complexity in the brew. Palate is nice, with very fine carbonation. Overall enjoyable, but prefer the other trappist beers. foodtraveller (26), Belgium Jun 9, 2008 Nice amber color with a good foam. Flavor of orange, flowers and malt. Typical trappist bitterness. Loverly beer. Bhops (329), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 8, 2008 Pours ligth amber/orange with full fluffy sustained head.
