COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In contrast to all the others, the Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste.

Finally went ahead and tried this one. Split a bottle with barleyPops. Dark golden yellow pour, big white head. Yeasty, estery aroma. Plenty of fruity notes. Flavor was similar with some subtle hop notes and sourness coming through as well. Good, but not something I’ll drink very often.

Recht herb für einen Belgier. Karamellig, fruchtig, hefige Noten.

With an intense amber, copper and slightly cloudy. In Trappist glass reveals a clear beige creamy lather well being bulky remaining all the time in the bowl. Its aroma has beautiful floral, fruity notes, with pretty nice and woody citrus notes. I brought, also the odor of nuts, toffee, malt, cloves. This famous Trappist has very peculiar characteristics. Very complex beer, odd, that every time I drink gives me new sensations. Its taste is bitter and dry, as well as somewhat salty. High carbonation. Just like its aroma, its flavor brought me nuts, a nice touch of toffee, malt, hops striking, spices, honey tones, a bitter end, dry, with hints of spices. Alcohol shows the guys from beginning to end it is hot. It is certainly the hoppier of Trappist beers. A Great beer, a different Trappist that delights tasters who cherish bitterness.

Fles 33cl.
