COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In contrast to all the others, the Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2014 Mild banana esters, belgian yeast and sour notes in the aroma. Maybe a bit of floral hops. Hazy brown, huge foamy white head that lasts forever. Very complex, sweet malt comes first, then the sourness and a mild hop bitterness finish, very dry. Medium bodied but extremely carbonated. Complex and interesting brew.

Fles 33cl.

Bottle from local SAQ. Aroma: Belgian yeast, banana, red fruits, spices. App: dark copper with huge white frothy head. Sparkling, Taste and Palate: medium body, light sweetness with medium dry sour finish. Carbonation is lively. Overall: Really enjoy this beer, good balance between spices and Belgian yeast. Tip: Pour really slowly and make sure to tilt your glass or you’ll end up with 1 inch of liquid and the rest will be the head ;)

From my night market :-) Unique! I find this beer to be unique! Very nice aroma and dry like it doesn’t scatter in your mouth! Love it more every time I drink!
