75cl bottle @ Scouts Waasmunster beertasting. Pours golden with a perfect creamy white head. Herbal spice nose, touch of coriander and some herb I can’t recall, but it gives a sweet undertone to a textbook tripel. Very tasty brew at 7,5%.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tripel since 2011 after a home brewery’s recipe and referring to the cycling rage which is still very much alive in these parts of the world. Thick, sticky, cream white head, warm orange blond colour, hazy. Sweet and spicy aroma of lavender, mint, coriander, orange peel, melon, sourish wheat, bread. Soft if not velvety palate (oats alert!à, lightly sourish with lively spiciness and mellow maltiness, pretty strong, long and dry hop bitterness in the finish. Fine tripel indeed.
