Lilith (241), Santiago, Chile Jun 28, 2007 Murky brown colored. Medium size tanned head, frothy that disappears quickly, fastly diminishing though leaves a good lacing. Aroma is smocked with hints of butter, vegetables, raisins and alcoholic notes. Flavor is light, wooden, smocked with notes of plums and a sticky palate, however, is a bit flat.
almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Aug 3, 2007 Has a brown reddish color. The head is big and abundant, but it diminishes rapidly. The aroma is malty and toasting cereals. In the palate, the flavor is very weak, with an aftertaste to masses (flour), something sweet and with very little bitterness. The body is very thin and watery. This one newly done?. It is not a bad beer, I believe that with more ripeness and a bit more of malt and hop this beer can be very good. Mauricio, thanks for the bottles. Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile Apr 1, 2007 Pours a murky brown color. Head is big, off-white, solid and beautiful. It diminishes quickly leaving a nice lacing.
Aroma is malty with notes of toasted cereal, plums, prunes, wood and some ashes but everything subdued, very soft.
Flavor is sweet-ish but very soft too, watery with notes of cereals, water, plums and some toasted bread. Meh.
Watery mouthfeel, little alcoholic presence, medium carbonation. Finish is very watery and leaves a weak, bland aftertaste. Very unexciting. Too fresh and unripe.
