Bottle @home - this is Aldi’s "own brand". Pours amber - with a good white head. Plenty of hop bitterness as you’d expect from an IPA. Good value

ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - FEB 28, 2013
Pours clear straw gold with a big foamy white head which settles to a thin foam. Loads of tiny bubbles in the body. Nice lacing from this one. Nice grass/straw on the nose along with some sweet biscuity malt. Robust flavour of a nice balanced malt/hop character, both elements are quite pronounced. Medium-strong carbonation which is lively in the mouth and quite big bodied. Mouthfeel is soft, though lively and a touch slick. Quite bitter in the finish, where the hops take over from the malt up front. A good beer and very good value.
