This black radler is really interesting concept. But I am not exactly very happy about it. They didnt made any better radler. You really dont realize that there is dark beer in it. It’s solid radler but nothing interesting.

0,5l bottle. Aroma and taste is lemon, a little bit artificial. A little bit more interesting than "regular" radlers. Quite refreshing.

.5l bottle I grabbed in Zagreb, and am enjoying in Belgrade. Strange dark pour, as you could estimate from the name of this beer. Reminds of some deceiving flavors in other brews, but also of the ’dark’ energy drinks that are around. Similar media presentation. This is a lemon flavored energy drink-like beverage over a darker ’black’ ale. There is novelty factor for sure, but also the emphasis is interesting and or sound of the product. Dark beer with lighter fruit body. Here it is a mash that doesn’t live up to the potential. Fruit juice, lemon flavor out of a black substance, mild alc. Doesn’t feel right. Overall everything is in alright places (flavors, body, appearance, weight) but it doesn’t add up to something great, just something interesting and typical. But I admire it’s uniqueness to what i’ve tasted around these parts.

I was the one who brought it to the Grand Tasting, but unlike the others, refused to rate it as it was warm... And then couldn’t find it for a long while in Split. I don’t get this logic of "waiting" before releasing a beer to the tourist areas, where all beers are flying off the shelves... Anyway, pours a lovely murky darker red/brown body with a small brownish head. The nose is immediately a surprise - nice fresh lemon juice aroma, sligthtly tart, slightly sweet. Quite nice really. And the taste... the sweetness is way less pronounced than when I’ve had it first, the lemony fruitiness is full and pleasant, doesn’t taste that fake, and the base beer just gives a soft, slightly malty background. If I ever feel the need to get a go-to radler, this might end up being it.

Canned 500ml. -Muddy brown coloured, small cola like head, ordinary radler nose. Artificial heavy lemony taste and that’s it. They obviously wanted to reduce the sweetness and metalic taste of original Osječko Crno but they failed. All in all let’ s say drinkable...or maybe not!!!

21/07 GT at Richtar Jakub, 0.5 l bottle didn’t plan to drink this but two bottles weren’t finished so... It had hazy dark brown body with medium sized head. Pungent lemon aroma and nothing else. Sweet artificial flavor, something that resembles lemon, only a bit of caramel was felt in the background when I tried hard. Medium body, sweet annoying finish. What a crap! I recon it was a bit too warm for tasting but even proprely cooled wouldn’t be any more refreshing.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012. Hazy, deep brown appearance with a light brown head. Rich tangy sour, lemonade, a touch toasty aroma. Tangy lemonade, soda, acidic, tart, quite sweet flavor. Not horrible, actually.

Brown murky body, minimal beige head. Clear lemon, like a soda, not much darkness. Soapy soda taste, dry aftertaste. Bleh. An okay lemonade.

Bottle, RBESG 2012 grand tasting. Dark brown colour. Head disappears instantly. Aroma grapefruit. Less lemon. Taste medium sweet, light bitter, grassy, citrus fruits. Sticky sweet finish. Good lemonade. Not a beer.
