Tap sample at the brewery in Longmont.
Slightly hazy amber, small white head.
Honey malt, caramel, muscat, sweet, like an alcoholic compote.
Some burned marmalade and toffee. Medium bitterness.
Med-full body, heavy and hard to drink.

Heavy mouth feel. Dark caramel color. Full bodied aroma. A little too better for my taste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Warm malt on the nose. Beautiful copper color. Head like a porter. Would not drink again, but not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer had a deep amber almost black color to it. It has a tan medium head on it. The aroma had malty smell to it. It was a good ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy dark copper with a lingering white head. Nutty yeasty aroma with a slight caramel undertone with a certain citrusy hoppiness. The flavor was like sweet citrusy candy on a doughy biscuit. Nice tones of orange zest and slight grapefruit rind mix with caramel and doughy undertones, with a calming citrusy creamy finish. There may be a little watermelon in there as well.
