Imperial pint can. Boozy aroma with bourbon, vanilla, caramel, oak, smoke and slight amount of hops. Pours dark ruby red with a thin tan head that has poor retention and lacing. Starts with caramel, bourbon and vanilla flavors with a rich mouthfeel and boozy mouthfeel. Finishes dry and boozy with oak, smoke and bit of hops at the very end. Not much IPA to this, but who cares, it’s a wonderful beer.

Draught at Akkurat. Clear deep amber/mahogany, short off white head. Big load of sticky caramel and heavy bourbon on the nose. Some peppery spice and vanilla, dill crisps. Taste is sweet with caramel, vanilla, fudge and some dried fruit, but also salty bourbon and dill crisps, fairly dry finish. Big body, soft scrubbing carbonation, oily. Just big and chunky in my opinion. Salty with an overload of bourbon.

Clear deep Amber with a fast fading ivory head. Lovely nose of bourbon barrel boozy sweetness, vanilla, coconut, dark scotch ale malts, light cocoa, toffee, peanut brittle, and a leafy earthy hop bitterness. Smooth and large flavor that’s woody, boozy/bourbonny, dark malty sweet, a lot of apricot, a little leafy, lots of peaty sweet scotch ale malt, and a slightly resiny hop and oak woody finish that lingers with bourbon and vanillin. Weird, but complex and tasty.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the SAVOR Week. Poured a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was caramel malts, vanilla, light woody notes. Flavor was light floral notes. Fruit. Bourbon vanilla character. Lots of booze in this one - 12.5% or so.
