3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Cole’s, Buffalo. Dark orange, medium bubbly creamy head. Decent hop nose, orange citrus. Nice initial orange citrus hop taste. Creamy mouthfeel. Some malt to balance out and add to the body. A little watery. Lingering orange taste. Completely drinkable, I could have finished this pint in about 5 minutes. A nice one.

It was a good example of a pale ale. It had a pleasant hop aroma and taste the biggest problem with this beer as I drank their was a bad taste in the back of my mouth. But I’d still recommend this beer to pale ale drinkers.

Pour from can. Really good, bitter complex beer. Awesome for outdoors (can). Amber pour with lasting moderate white head.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: Golden with a finger of light khaki foam and cobweb lace on this one. Excellent clarity. Foam falls to a stretched sheet of the same.
S: This one’s a bit over the hill, and actually has not suffered much IMO. The citrusy hops have died down and given way to a nice floral, sweet character. Some orange blossom and honey with a slight sweet tea character.
T: Sweet, the bitterness in this can has died back substantially. Again, really floral. I think I might like this over the 90 day probationary period.
M: Moderate body and moderate carb, middle the road with a semi dry on wet finish.
O: What can I say, been drinking this for a few years, will continue to do so. Great beer to help introduce folks to IPA’s, from a great brewery to introduce folks into craft beer in general.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a nice hazy light amber color with a decent head. Looks really good actually, considering it comes from a can. The aroma really has a bready note to it, with some dank hoppyness to it. Flavors of sprucy, slightly citrusy dank hops and a nice malty backbone that balances this beer well. This is just a plain good beer, tbh!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Copper/bronze colour. Medium head.
Aroma is caramel malts, bread, hint of tropical fruits and toffee. Somehow reminds me of Goose Island IPA.
Taste is same with pines, mild hops, grapefruit and resin added.
Smooth medium+ mouthfeel, soft carbonation.
Grassy dry finish with grapefruit.
Not a hopbomb, but more IPA than APA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly hazy gold with a foamy white head and thick lacing. It has a great aroma of slightly floral and citrusy hops with a strong malt profile. The flavor is bitter but very drinkable, with hops up front and a malt backbone to balance the flavor and finish over a medium body.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can, Brew Dog, Camden. Poured a hazy amber colour with a mid range white head. Hoppy and sweet nose with some nice citrus fruit notes. Not the all out hop bomb anticipated flavour wise, but very tasty and solid bitterness all the same with some balancing caramel.. Quality canned beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft. Caramel color minimal head when it got to me. Piney aroma. Taste is a moderate bready malt backbone with lots of piney/resinous notes. Mouthfeel was quite sticky. A very solid beer. Not fantastic, but definitely not bad.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355 ml can from Wild Hops, served into a tulip. Pours a nice sunrise orange, pretty clear, with a big dirty white head that leaves great lacing. Being an extremely old can there isn’t much aroma left unfortunately, mainly caramel malts, just a hint of citrusy hops and some dusty and soapy notes. Pleasent bitterness in the mouth that go away pretty quickly leaving a dry, herbal and somehow astringent and a bit unpleasent aftertaste. I was expecting a bigger body but it’s actually light to medium, with a thin texture, slightly creamy. Correct carbonation. I’m obviously a tad disappointed but hopefully one day I’ll find a fresher can and re-rate it for a better and proper judgement.
