Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2014 Lively hop aroma with fruity, citrusy elements and some harsher piney notes. The malts are also evident in the caramel notes in the background. The taste mostly mirrors the aroma and is helped by a great medium palate with adequate carbonation. Pleasantly surprising.

Orange body with a thick white head. Sweet toffee smell with a taste to match. Smooth & creamy with balanced citrus & lightly fruity bitterness. A refreshing full bodied pale ale. Rated by BrewTom

Tall can. Pours a clear copper with a tall almost beige head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of caramel, citrus and generally fruity hops. Taste is moderately sweet and moderately bitter, offers some nice fruity hops again with a good piny bite. Both body and carbonation are moderate. Overall a really good option for camping, especially in big cans like these!

Draft at Moriarity’s in Philadelphia. Pours clear amber with a 1-finger white head. Mild piney hops aroma. Medium body with a dry finish. Flavor of piney hops with a note of caramel malt in the base.

Quite malt forward... caramel malts at the fore, with a hoppy bitter finish. Not bad, but it’s got a bit of a weird aftertaste to me. Not really my cup of tea.

Can. Lots of caramel in both aroma and flavour, American malty character. Other than that classic hoppiness, resiny zesty citrusy. Very good.

Can kindly shared by Miro, many thanks. Oranfe golden color with medium white head. Citrus hops, caramel malt in aroma. Taste, citrus hops, caramel. Long hoppy bitter finish. Very good.

Can. Pours amber with a thin off white head. Piney aroma. Big malt up front well balanced with the piney hops. This is a pretty strong pale ale but with the balance is pretty easy drinking. Solid overall.

I had it straight from the can. Even in the can, you get a nice hop and caramel aroma. The taste is a very nice balance of hops, malt, and brown sugar. It’s nice and smooth. This was very impressive.

strong grassy caramel aromas, pale gold colour with foamy white head, well as for taste i find it quite sweet, brown sugar flavour, even the hop bitterness is quite sweet, refreshing and quite nice but i was expecting a hop bomb!

The centennial certainly comes through. Big, bold and fruity. A heavy, sweet core from the malt with punch exotic and citrus fruits from the hops. Great from a can. Perfect for a picnic but I wouldn’t have too many - not a session beer!
