3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
"Rocky Mountain Pale Ale" can poured into a cheater pint
a: nice golden color, foamy 1/4" head with great retention. Sticky lacing rings the glass
s: nose consist of light caramel, clean yeastiness, slight pine. Nothing overwhelming or overly inviting.
t: Sweet Caramel backbone nicely balanced with the bitterness from the hops. Pine is the finish.
M: at 6.5% ABV I would almost consider this an IPA, but the bitterness and hops are not overwhelming enough to do this. I think this beer blurs the line between APA and American IPA. Overall a nice beer

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thick head. Amber beer. Piney aroma. Distinct hops but balanced somewhat but toasted malty notes. Dry hoppy finish. But too hoppy for me.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can to shaker glass. Pours clear deep amber, two finger off white head, very nice lacing, great retention. Aroma of caramel, pine and herbs. Taste is moderately bitter, just the right sweetness to balance. Medium light body, soft carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes bitter sweet and long. Tasting notes of caramel, spruce, herbs, resin and pear. This is a very tasty APA.

Orangegoldene Farbe, ordentliche beige Schaumrkrone. Geruch fruchtig hopfig, leicht grasig, malzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig fruchtig, die Bitterkeit wird nach und nach mehr, etwas Pfirsisch und Aprikose, sehr lecker und sŁffig.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From 12oz can, 6-pack
Aroma: Good amount of "C" hops for American IPA/Pale Ale type smell, citrus with some pine
Appearance: Clear, Amber color, off-white frothy head
Taste: Light bitter, inline with pale ales
Palate: Nice dry finish, light body
Overall: Not a bad pale ale. The aroma fades pretty quick and after a few minutes, it begins smelling not so much like a Pale Ale - almost like wet newspapers. Still tastes fine, just the aroma fades quickly. Super clear, must be filtered to be that clear. Nice malt/hop balance. Some malts, but not too much.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty sure Iíve had this before but apparently never rated it. 33 cl can @ home. Clear rusty orange color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is lightly malts, nicely hoppy, nicely fruity. Taste malts, hops, malt bitter, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can: Deep amber & shiny copper gradient from top to bottom. Translucent, cloudy, & capped with a fine layer of bright white foam. Very modest lacing. Aroma is fairly light & laid back, but does its job nicely. Small blast of citric-forward hops; juicy grapefruit ring, orange zest, pine, mild hemp oil, & some fresh cut grass. Only a touch of toasted bread from the malt. The three biggest components of the flavor are: grapefruit peel, oranges, & pine resin. Pretty good summation. Hints of candied citrus rind, wet hop leaves, grass, & a slight kick of oily dankness. Back-end builds with a hint of earthy bitterness, but never pushes things past the APA limit. Sweet bready malt lingers a bit after the hops fade in the aftertaste. Drinkable. Nice pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Balanced aroma of malt and hops. Strong citrusy aroma and flavor with grapefruit being dominant. Good with Mexican food. Your basic APA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
04.22.14 store label.
Poured from a can into a beer cab glass on 07.03.14.
A: Caramel, flower.
A: 3 finger head. See through amber. Nice lacing.
T: Flower, citrus, malt dominate. Apple is subtle.
P: Somewhat creamy.
O: The first one that I had was a bad beer, but this one was fairly fresh. This tastes like an old style APA. Itís not as hop forward as West Coast style APAs, but more balanced. Itís a solid APA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, clean, silky & smooth. Drying in the aftertaste. A simple straightforward IPA that is called a pale ale.
