Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

"Rocky Mountain Pale Ale" can poured into a cheater pint a: nice golden color, foamy 1/4" head with great retention. Sticky lacing rings the glass s: nose consist of light caramel, clean yeastiness, slight pine. Nothing overwhelming or overly inviting. t: Sweet Caramel backbone nicely balanced with the bitterness from the hops. Pine is the finish. M: at 6.5% ABV I would almost consider this an IPA, but the bitterness and hops are not overwhelming enough to do this. I think this beer blurs the line between APA and American IPA. Overall a nice beer

Orange blossom and bread mix with grain and earth on the aroma. Clear copper with a full off-white head that lingers and leave significant lacing. Taste is citrus and pine forest, with a bready finish. Moderate high bitterness and a clean dry finish.

Can from swedish SB. Pours clear amber with a medium head. Aroma is hoppy citric and toast. Taste starts of with a hoppy kick in the teeth, soothed with a malty and not too sweet middle and finishes off with a nice and refreshing bitterness.

Can. Pours clear amber with a small white creamy mostly lasting head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is resin and citrus. Light to medium bitter, light body, thin feel, average carbonation with fine bubbles, flavors of grapefruit rind, hints of malty sweetness provide some balance but not quite enough and a brief bitter finish.

Can from AlesByMail.co.uk. Clear, amber to red body, with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, red berries, grass, black tea, grains. Taste with about the same aromas. Mouthfeel is medium to light, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes bitter, slightly dry, with pine, grass and some sweet malts. Tasty! Like the lighter version of their Deviant Dale’s, which I also enjoyed big time! Great, distinct APA, with a perfect balance between tea like malts and piney hops.

Can. Pours clear orange with thick white head. Aroma is vanilla, citrus, grapefruit, floral. Taste is very balanced, easy, nothing too exciting but not bad. An okay beer.
