Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

"Rocky Mountain Pale Ale" can poured into a cheater pint a: nice golden color, foamy 1/4" head with great retention. Sticky lacing rings the glass s: nose consist of light caramel, clean yeastiness, slight pine. Nothing overwhelming or overly inviting. t: Sweet Caramel backbone nicely balanced with the bitterness from the hops. Pine is the finish. M: at 6.5% ABV I would almost consider this an IPA, but the bitterness and hops are not overwhelming enough to do this. I think this beer blurs the line between APA and American IPA. Overall a nice beer

Hemlig doft. Mycket skum. Ljusbrun klar. Ganska besk försmak med lite bränd eftersmak. Inget speciellt, men ok. En av de berömda knu**rufs-burkarna.

Pours clear orange with a strong bone white head from a can. Nose has caramel-like sweetness and fruit, particularly grapes/raisins. Mouth has in addition hints of pine and hints of something like licorice. Body is quite full for an IPA with slick texture and average carbonation. A long sweet and bitter finish.

On draft at Denver airport. Pours Amber with a white head. This was a let down. Too malty with a soapy hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells of honey malt sweetness, hops, and a grass-like earthy scent. Good, clean simple aroma. A little darker than your ordinary pale ale with a lot of white clingy foam. Tastes light and malty at first, then a sharp hop bite hits you. The after taste is clean and refreshing. This is not a style that lends itself to having a great palate, but still the palate is a bit weak and watery. This would be a great camping or float trip beer. Overall it is refreshing and just flavorful enough to distinguish itself from other canned beers.

At pivni in York, right up there with Odells. Expensive, but pay it. Hoppy, solid, perfect, truly awesome.

Huuuge foamy head poured into glass. Odd experience drunk from a can, but a nice hoppy pale ale, just not the bitterness or intensity of an IPA. Good beer though.

Golden with big white head. Malty body for a pale ale but good hops to balance. Great go-to beer.

Pours a golden color, white foam, frothy, light aroma of cheese, citrus, light body, average carbonation, nice light pale ale, not too bitter but plenty of flavor that doesn’t overpower.
