Can from Systembolaget (24 SEK). Dry hopped aroma. Nice head.Hoppy and bitter taste. Often called (Modern) IPA, but maybe American Pale Ale is a better name. Very good value for money, but still I prefer bottles before cans. I guess I have to realize that premium beers doesnít have to be in bottles.

Orange citrus aroma overwhelms but a little caramel sneaks through. The body is big and chewy, really large for the style. A good one for summer but strong enough year-round. Poured from a can (what else?).

12oz can - Pours amber with orange hint. white head. Good smelling brew with citrus fruit and grassy notes, and a bit of roasted malt. Flavor of a sourdough bread, pop of citrus, and hay. Subtle nuttiness, with some slightly sweet cereal grain. Bitter finish.

Oskar Blues Daleís Pale Ale is a nice example of the style but not a standout IMHO. Lightly hazy amber pour with a decent head. Low fruity aroma. Taste is malty with a pine background -- not a lot of floral or fruit notes. Daleís Pale is a decent go to brew.

This my 2nd favorite summer time active beer in a can behind Shift beer by New Belgium. This beer is a lot more hoppy than Shift. This beer as an awesome hop aroma and finish with a hearty rich middle.

Finally a Pale Ale not going for full IPA zesty profile. Pours up a light golden color with a nice white head. Malts tastes like an old English ale with a bread skin and sugar background. Quite well balanced into the sweetness of malts. Itís also tea like with some resin and herbal notes to it.

On tap. A beer that basks in its middle-of-the-roadness. Itís fine. Itís kinda hoppy. Itís perfectly alright for drinking at a bar or a ballpark or pretty much wherever. Itís not perfect -- itís too bitter and kinda boring -- but who can knock a beer for not rising above itís own normalcy?
