COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can’t believe the high ratings here at RateBeer. Had this on tap at Fox’s Pizza Den; perhaps there was a problem with the tap. This was just plain nasty. It tasted like someone took a BMC and added some hops for a little bitterness. Nothing enjoyable about this beer at all.

From draft at the rover, poured an Amber colour with a white head. Nose of crisp malts, sweet caramel, citrus, Candy yeast, light floral, mango, and light resinous pine needles. Taste has more pine bitter in the finish, sweet caramel, and a nog hop bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable ipa

On tap at St. Augustine’s. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is candied citruses, caramel. Taste is citruses hoppy bitterness which becomes resiny and quite agressive in aftertaste. Very good IPA.

Can from SB. Nose is very hoppy, fresh citrus, pine and grapefruit. Taste is very full and aromatic. The hops and the malt really blend together to create a rich, bready but still fresh taste. The aroma lingers in one's nose along with the bitterness in the back of the mouth. Really a great beer and I really think it tastes its best when drunk straight out of the can or in a wine glass! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
