Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can pours a light orange with a full white head. Taste is malty, with a semisweet graininess, and a long hoppy finish. The hops are very present, somewhat fruity, but bold like an imperial pale ale.

From a 19.2 ounce can bought at the QT. Pours an orange gold, slightly translucent and an inch of lingering head. Nice carbonation. Faint nose. Beautiful taste. Perfectly hopped. Wonderful beer, especially from a gas station.

On tap at Malone’s in East Point, GA. Clear copper pour with a one-finger white head and lots of lacing on the glass leaving rings all the way down marking every sip. Nice biscuit and citrus aroma and taste. Medium slick mouthfeel. Very nice.

Pours a clear copper with a lasting white head that leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is toffee, mango with a slight dustiness. Taste is caramel, citrus, slight hints of pineapple and pine with a long bitter finish that really hits the spot. A real favourite of mine and my go to IPA. This particular can isn’t the freshest (canned in March) which may explain the dusty scent/taste.

Bottle @ home. Pours a clear amber color with orange notes. Has a a large, lasting and creamy off white head and nice lacing. Well balanced hop and malt aroma with intense grapefruit, pine apple, flowery and somewhat spicy hops, caramel, biscuits, bread. Medium bodied, Medium carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, refreshingly crisp and has resinous hoppiness combined with a dry, low to medium sweet, malt backbone. Notes of caramel, toffee, biscuits, rye bread. Hop flavors of grapefruit, blood orange, flowers, pine apple. Assertive, balanced and lasting bitterness with notes of grapefruit. One of my favorite American Pale Ales.

Average American Pale Ale. Was better on nitro than I've had in the past, but nothing remarkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty, hazy dark golden beer with a lasting white head. Aroma is floral (it smells a bit like women’s perfume, I got some white rose and lavender there), woody and slightly fruity (orange peel). Dry, moderately bitter and citrusy taste, decent hoppy aftertaste. Palate is surprisingly smooth without being watery, is this a nitro can? Kinda tastes like it and the ridiculous foam retention would speak for this too. Anyway, one of the best beers I’ve had from this style so far, of course nowhere near a solid IPA, for me at least, but sometimes a normal pale ale is just the right thing, and this one is remarkably well executed.
