COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers canít, where flavorless canned beers donít belong. And no matter where you drink Daleís Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can pours a light orange with a full white head. Taste is malty, with a semisweet graininess, and a long hoppy finish. The hops are very present, somewhat fruity, but bold like an imperial pale ale.

COD 4/21/14. Pours a clear almost medium amber with a nice dark ruby tint. Tremendous head with excellent lacing and retention. Very nice nose of tropical citrus hops over a pine and light caramel background. Medium body with an almost slick texture. Above average carbonation with a nice effervescent finish. The flavor profile is complex and well balanced. It begins with a blend of hop flavors found in the nose, then rapidly flows to a pine focused hop bitterness over a slightly tart note. As the bitterness fades, a light caramel sweetness emerges in the effervescent finish. A tart pine bitterness with hints of spice lingers.

Very ballanced beer. Fresh, hoppy aroma, not too pushy, same as taste. Very smooth and easy drinkable. Good, refreshing beer.

Iím taste testing this by drinking from the can because you canít have bottles at the campground Iím going to this weekend so Iím giving it a 4 on appearance because I havenít seen a bad beer. From the can it has a citrusy aroma, nice. hoppy flavor. A really good beer from a can. I will be taking a few of these camping.

Heavy hop bitterness dominates this excellent beer without ever going overboard. Highly refreshing despite strength.

Poured from can into pint glass: Pours clear golden with a hint of amber and a foamy one finger head. Aroma of grass, resin, and a bit of bread. Taste has a slight malt sweetness backed up with a strong hop presence. Lots of pine, a little bready, very well balanced. Medium body, medium carbonation, fairly dry finish. Nice pale ale.

Can. Pours hazy amber with an average, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, peach and flowery notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and nice bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice APA.

Poured from can (what else) into a Firestone Walker tulip and tasted side by side with a FW Pale 31. Darker golden-copper in color with a small off white head. Nose is sweet and malty, lot of caramel. Bitter, malty taste with a lingering bitter sweet finish. Really like this.

Clear golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, pine, forest floor, light honey notes. Malty flavour, light hops, spruce, hint of straw, rather bitter. Lingering malts. Rather malt-forward, with a nice bitterness.
